ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

I am a native Oklahoman.  I graduated from Harrah High School and attended Oklahoma Christian College where I met my husband, Howard.   We have been married 27 years and have two wonderful children, Ryan and Lindsay.  I spent nineteen years teaching third and fourth graders.   Then, four years ago, I had the opportunity to train at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and become an academic language therapist.  Now I work with our dyslexic students and teach them skills to become better readers.  I have found this to be a truly rewarding experience.  I think I am lucky enough to work with some of the hardest working, most determined, and greatest thinkers in the world.
