ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

 I am a native born Texan.  I went to school and graduated from Gilmer High School in Gilmer, Texas, home of the Yamboree.  I have been married to the same man for 32 years and we have three children.

Earlier this year we went to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota and had our picture taken with the presidents.  It was a long, long way but I'm glad I got to experience it.

I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education and Master's degree in Student Personnel and Guidance (counseling) from Texas A& M Commerce.  I have 32 years of experience in the educational fields as a teacher and elementary counselor.  I am in my sixth year with the Van Alstyne school district and loving it!
