ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

   I moved to Van Alstyne in 1981 after getting married to my husband Ken.  We have been married for 28 years.  We have four children.  Bryan 26, he lives in San Deigo, California and works for American Systems.  Matthew 24, lives in Blue Ridge, Texas and works for NPS Construction and goes to Collin County.  Elaine 22, lives in Commerce, Texas and just graduated college with a elementary teaching degree.  She teaches 2nd grade at Commerce Elementary.  David 18, lives in Van Alstyne and works for NPS Consruction also and will attend GCC in the spring.

   I have been working at Van Alstyne ISD for 14 years.  Prior to becoming a teacher I have been working as a teacher's aide for 13 years.  The last 5 years I have been attending Texas A&M Commerce to receive my BS in Elementary.  This is my first year to teach 2nd grade.   I am very excited about teaching.

     We love spending time together.  We all love to snow ski and just hanging out together. We live in the country.  We have many animals: cows, horses, cats, and dogs. 

   I love to spend time with my family, swim, snow ski, garden and play with my yorkie, Bently.
