ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Van Alstyne Elementary opens its doors at 7:30 AM. 

Students will be dropped off in front of the school building.  All side doors are locked.

The school day starts at 8:00 AM for all pre-kinder students.  Their day ends at 11:00 AM.  

All kinder through 4th grade students will start their days at 8:05 AM. 

Dismissal times are :

Kindergarten                2:55 PM

1st and 2nd grades     3:00 PM

3rd and 4th grades      3:05 PM

Please be aware that all children, kindergarten through 4th grade, who arrive in class after the tardy bell rings at 8:05 AM will need to report back to the school office to collect their tardy slips.  Pre-K students need to be in the classroom by 8:00 or will be regarded as tardy.
