ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

My name is Laura Hunt and this is my 18th year to teach.  I have taught K, 1st grade, and 3rd grade.  I have taught 3rd grade for over 10 years.  I absolutely love this age!  Before coming to Van Alstyne, I taught in McKinney and Plano.  I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. 

                My husband and I moved to Van Alstyne six years ago.  We have three children and a house full of pets.  We love the "small town feel" of Van Alstyne and I am very happy to work and raise my family here.  VAE is a great place to be and I am blessed to work with wonderful people!
