ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

I have been married almost 40 years to my High School sweetheart, Billy.  We are both graduates of Van Alstyne High School.  We have two children and one "adopted" daughter.  Our daughter, Valerie, has 4 children (2 daughters, 2 sons) .  Our son, Billy Paul has one daughter. Erica has one son for a total of 6 grandchildren.  We also are expecting our first great-grandchild in January.  We enjoy time with our family, camping and traveling (Hawaii is our favorite vacation spot!).

My education includes a B.S. in Education from Texas A & M Commerce and a M. ED. in Professional Education from Southeastern Oklahoma University in Durant, OK. 

My certifications include: Elementary Education, Early Childhood/K, Reading, Generic Special Education k - 12 and Elementary Principal.  

I have 26 years experience as an educator.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th math and language arts, 7th grade journalism, Title I Reading, Special Education, and was a substitute teacher for High School for 2 years.
